The Need

With fans increasingly turning to their phones during the game, teams needed an intuitive way to transition fans from realtime watching to realtime engagement. Xperiel was able to provide a solution to that need of building an interactive realtime experience without the large budge of an app development team.

The Solution

The solution was to build out an interactive game for fans to play in real-time with the game. The Xperiel team provided an easy to plug-in experience that was able to integrate into the teams' official mobile apps, available in Android and iOS.

For the 2019-2018 season, the Xperiel team was tasked to add-in a new cryptocurrency feature that the Sacramento Kings team has been developing in collaboration with BlockParty.

The resulting experience delivered to the team was a native-like interactive game connected to the NBA feed would send the results and the fans who predicted correctly would earn a spot on the leaderboard to win weekly and season prizes.
